I have been married for 14 years to my wife Mallory, and together we have two little girls, Avery and Ella Kate. We live in Pine Mountain with our Cats (Lucy, Luna, and Pippa) and our DOG (GUS). This is my 15th year teaching, and my 5th at HCHS. I am excited to be teaching in "THE County." My wife teaches at HCCMS, and both of my daughters attend schools in Harris County. I have taught ECONOMICS, World History, Us History, US Government, AP GOvernment and Civics, and Middle Grades Science and Social Studies throughout my teaching career. I have coached baseball for over 12 years, and football for 8 years. I am from Manchester, Ga, where both of my parents were educators for over 30 years. After graduating from Flint River Academy in 2003, I attended Auburn University, Troy University, Columbus State University, and Lagrange College, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in SOcial Sciences, A Master of Arts Degree in Teaching and a Specialist Degree in curriculum and instruction in Secondary Social Studies. I feel truly blessed to have my whole family in one county, and to be able to do what I love everyday for a living. The only things I love more than my job are God, My family, and the Atlanta Braves.
